Chris Clayton is a CCM and Worship music producer/mixer/songwriter based in the Nashville, TN. A born and raised Texan, Chris and his family moved to the Nashville area in 2016 after signing his first publishing deal but has been working and investing in artists and churches for over twenty years.  In addition to his production and songwriting work, Chris has served the local church as a worship leader both in a church staff and itinerant capacity.

Chris is credited on projects with a variety of artists including Chris Tomlin, Keith & Kristyn Getty, Selah, Big Daddy Weave, Natalie Layne. Josh Baldwin/Bethel Music, Darlene Zchech, Shane and Shane, Bridge Worship, Christine D'Clario, Kristene DiMarco, CityAlight, Dustin Smith, Skye Reedy just to name a few.  Chris has written songs and/or produced records for some the largest churches in America including The Belonging Co., Houston's First Baptist Church, Valley Creek Church, Pinelake Church, and Crossroads Church.  In addition, Chris was nominated as a songwriter in 2018 for the Gospel Music Association Canada Covenant Award for Pop Song of the Year.

Chris resides in the Nashville area with his beautiful and amazing wife Kara, and their five awesome kids. When he is not in the studio you can find him in the back yard pulling together an amazing BBQ feast or hanging out with family and friends.
